Grand Magus-Self Titled

Well, after a couple of tracks on “ Water dragon Records Compilation” and a 3-Track demo, a full-length release is finally here! This Self-Titled monster is awesome and hasn’t left my stereo yet. The best way to describe “Grand Magus” is Bluesy based rock with some Doom elements thrown in for a great mix, of slow grinding rock and fucking roll. Similar artist would be, a touch of C.O.C with maybe a similar vocal style of Honcho.Every song on this Record rocks in a big way! The stands out tracks for me are:Never learned, Wheel Of Time and Black Hole. Track 7 “ Wheel Of Time” has an awesome chorus with some catchy ass vocals, which will have you banging your head on those long summer drives. These Guys can really play well, Janne’s guitar solos are really nice and extremely old school 70’s sounding.This is one of the best releases this year to date!
