Hey guys, I picked up Hammer of the North + DVD two days ago at RockyRoad music store in The Hague (NL). It hasn't left my cd-player! The songs are awesome and I love the production. Congrats, and do some gigs in NL soon!

First off, I love the tracks I've heard from the new album (the 2 music videos and the I, The Jury preview). Pure gold.
But I'm really frustrated by Roadrunner dropping the ball on U.S. distribution. The "official" U.S. release date was last week, but there is nowhere in the U.S. selling it domestically. Amazon is the best option, and they have to import it from Germany (and for whatever reason, yesterday was the first day they had it available, and its already sold out). Other vendors won't have it available until next month.
In addition, there are no digital downloads available (iTunes, Amazon, etc.). While I vastly prefer having a hard copy of an album in-hand as I listen to it, I would've gladly purchased a download of this album if it meant I could hear it sooner.
So I really can't wait to get my hands on this album. I hope its not too much longer (I pre-ordered on Amazon, it should be arriving next week). Its just frustrating that I would've had it by now if I had just bought it from a German website and had it shipped over here.
Distribution issues aside, I goddamn love this band and the new tracks sound amazing. Its also cool seeing JB with some new guitars in the music videos (as a fellow owner of a white Gibson Explorer, I was pretty pumped to see that one pop up).

Thanks for your comments, glad you like the stuff you've heard so far! You should be able to find the album on ITunes in Europe and Japan now. The official US release is in January, and that's the reason for these "availability issues". Sorry for any confusion caused by lack of info on our part.

Hammer of the North is excellent! I like the video for "At Midnight.." as well, in which I think JB looks a bit like Rob Halford! Haha. I'll be spinning some of the best tracks on my radio show! (see link)

I've bought everything you've done. I have to say that whatever Sweden has in the water...it's powerful stuff. Grand Magus is a great band and I take great pains to spread the word.
Hammer of the North has raised the bar for the work you've done...it is excellent.
For whatever reason I can really pick out the NWOBHM influences...more so than I might normally.
For three guys you move a lot of sound and that's music to my ears.
